2007-2014

LANDMARKS is an ongoing series of paintings of walls.  Beginning as snapshots encountered throughout the world, they are printed on canvas and painted with oils.  The examples below originate from Latin America, North America, North Africa, Asia and Australia. This project explores the cultural histories present in these layers of paint, as well as the visual relationships these images have with various movements in art history. 

Each painting is 140cm x 105cm.
